Mothers may not be the most computer savvy folks in the world, but for some reason they manged to master the ‘Forward’ button right from the start! When I was younger, I would complain to my mom about all of the forwards she sent. “I don’t have time to read this stuff! All you’re doing is clogging up my email!” I finally complained enough, and she finally stopped. I’m so grateful she didn’t stop collecting them for herself!
That was a decade ago, before I, too, became a mother. Now that I’m in my thirties, have been married for 10+ years and have a daughter and son of my own, I am learning to appreciate this wisdom more and more each day. I am so grateful to my mother for collecting these truths and it is an honor and a blessing to be able to share them with those who can appreciate them, too.
